The short film is no budget, and so we are unfortunately unable to offer pay. It is completely understood how this can be frustrating, so apologies for this. It is however intended that perhaps the exposure of this short film will lead to paid work for all of us. Note that we also like to promote those involved and give them an opportunity to be involved in an exciting project. Unfortunately we've wasted the past 2 months and dealt with 6 composers that we narrowed down so far who either didn't understand that music has to serve the film, or they had big egos and thought our little no budget film was beneath them. Music Composer with Small Box Films

GO GO REJECT has been playing at film festivals across the country (From New York to Los Angeles) and we are receiving distribution offers.
Currently, many of the musical sequences are temporary tracks. I need a music composer who can REPLICATE these tracks for distribution purposes. I understand this allows for minimal creative influence but there is a wide variety of music in the film (from dance club to indie guitar) and it would be a wonderful opportunity to have your compositions be heard around the world. Additionally, you would be credited as film composer in the credits and IMDB.
Distribution dollars for short films is minimal(if any) but it is a calling card for every person involved and has the opportunity to be seen by a huge audience- which is why I made the film. This basically means I will never make back the money I spent on the film but it could lead to bigger and better projects.
There is pay (if necessary) but minimal.
