Major event planning and organization set up includes:

• The Elephant Room:
Initial and continual set up for concert series included conversion of multi-purpose room to concert venue each week for 4-6 month concert season. Conversion consisted of sound and lighting installation as well as physical set construction; platforms, stage build-out and carpet/sound absorption placement.
• Event work at FUMC includes responsibility to prepare, run, and strike after events (sanctuary, theatre, all purpose formal meeting room).
• Preparation includes setting up sound system, lighting structures, tables, place settings, podiums or panel tables and ensuring master attendance list is up to date.
• Running event includes managing or assisting manager in checking in attendees, running or overseeing sound/lights/computer system presentation as necessary, and/or managing servers, catering vendor, and other participating vendors.
• Striking event includes the dismantling of all technical components (lights, sound, and computer presentation), closing vendor bills/invoices for program, striking tables (furniture) as necessary, and clearing room to clean slate status.

• Assistant Wedding Coordinator
Served as assistant to Coordinator for 300 seat wedding and reception in Pasadena, CA. Acted as liaison to vendors (DJ, florist, reception hall catering, and photographer) and facilitated seating chart, place card pick up design, and aesthetics for reception lighting and place settings (30 tables at 10 per table). Carried out additional duties as assigned by Coordinator.
