Personal Profile
I’m a freelance dubbing mixer available for broadcast level mixing and voiceover recording sessions. Until recently I held the position of Senior Dubbing Mixer at Rapid Pictures Post Production. I can boast over 100 broadcast dubbing credits, working on programmes for all the major UK channels such as BBC1-4, Channel 4 and Five as well as international credits for NHK (Japan) and Discovery US.
I’m a fully competent Pro Tools user and have had over 4 years of experience working alongside Avid and Final Cut Pro editors. I also have experience working with HD footage, mixing in 5.1; I recently mixed 8 x 60 Minute shows for Sky One in 5.1.
I have experience in a variety of genres, from comedy to factual documentary, light entertainment to long form DVD mixing. I’m also well versed in all forms of audio layback, for example Digibeta, HDSR, Dolby-E Encoding and DA88, as well using the Dolby LM100 for metering mixes in accordance with Discovery Channel specifications.
At Rapid I was in charge of maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting 3 audio suites and am comfortably able to support myself, working unattended or with client input.

In addition to the broadcast work listed above, I have also completed hundreds of corporate jobs for clients such as Tesco, Easyjet and HSBC and have also re-voiced and re-mixed broadcast material for foreign markets.
Sound Design
Every project I have worked on has required sound design of some sort, from the basic tracklaying of background fx, to recording foley, layering spot fx and mixing this all in stereo or 5.1.
