WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE:

January 2009                     BBC Wood Norton Training. Training for live broadcasts and experience of a proper television studio. We also planned our own Quiz Program that was recorded.

June 2008 – August 2008   Worked at Albany House Doctors Surgery in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire    as an administration assistant. My jobs involved paperwork, entering data into a computer database, answering phones and dealing with patients and requests. This employment taught me how to deal with members of the public and work as part of a team.

September 2007 – Present Since joining DeMontfort University in September I have been a fully committed                     

                              member of Demon TV. This is a student run television for the University. We have produced

                              a variety of shows and enter them into Student Television Competitions all over the country.                

                              Being a member of Demon TV has allowed me to build on the experience and knowledge I

                              already have, but has also helped me to gain new skills and try new roles within the

                              production of a program.

June 2007 – August 2007     Worked at Glazerite Windows in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire as an administrations assistant. My jobs here involved sorting paperwork and invoices, creating information packs for clients and accountancy work.

January 2007                      Worked at BBC Radio Northampton. My roles here included creating content for some on air competitions, experience of an outside broadcast and general shadowing of presenters and the news team.

OTHER SKILLS

I am computer literate and have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

I have full UK Driving Licence which I have held for 2 years

INTERESTS

I have many interests, many of which are media related. I enjoy watching films and television. I like to read

books and magazines. I also enjoy Musical Theatre and Music – especially live concerts.
