I am Sandra Bocas, a makeup artist living in the Düsseldorf area. I have a wealth of experience in the field of makeup and modelling. I began my career as a makeup artist working for Andy Warhol in The Factory in New York City. There I learned special effects for his silk screen prints and for his portraits. Some of the people I made up were Jane Fonda, Grace Jones, Jodie Foster, Genna Davis, Harvey Weinstein and Andy himself. My work here also included the creation of many different `looks` for Andy Warhol`s videos. I also did makeup work for magazines such as Vogue, Hapers Bazzar, W, J Crew Magazine and Interview Magazine. Some of the models I made up include Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista and I had the pleasure of working with such photographers as Arthur Elgort, Denis Peil and Paul Amato.
I have been living in Germany for 15 years and have madeup Verona Pooth, Dijana Kamps, Lilly and Boris Becker. I also have experience working on catalogues, editorials, fashion shows and advertising campaigns along with a host of other events. Some of the photographers I enjoy working with are: Toraj Mahrukh, Casten Sander and Andreas Henk. I am available for work and am willing to travel should the job require such.
