Career and academic achievements

• Won best achievement in cinematography at Chicago’s Humboldt Park film festival, 2008.
• Certified operator and technician with packages: Arriflex S, M, BL, SR II (16 and Super 16).  Aaton XTR, LTR, and Aminima.  Éclair NPR, Bolex, and Cinema-Products 16.  35MM packages include the Arri BL3 and Panavision GII. 
• Have tested, prepped, pulled focus, built, attended seminars and shot on Red One at 2K and 4K. 

• Certified to work with Tungsten Fresnel 10K, 5K, 2K, 1K, 650, 300, 150, baby, and in-betweenie.  Kino flo from mini flo to 2*4 daylight and tungsten.  HMI systems including Par, Fresnel, and Dedo.  Open faced tungsten 1K and 2K. 

·        Shot, tested, and prepped Kodak Vision 3 7219 500T, and 7207 250D. Vision 2 16mm color 100T, 200T, 250D and 500T stock.  Kodak Vision 2 16mm black & white 7265 reversal and 7222 negative stocks.  Similarly I’ve done density, emulsion and screen tests on Fuji stocks.

·        Have a working relationship with Chicago’s Astro and filmworkers processing and color correction lab; thus, I have working knowledge of photochemical processing, emulsion technology, telecine and color correction. 

·        Recently filled the role of cinematographer on the SAG Chicago independent feature film Happily After.
