Paula was born in Northern Ireland and spent much of her late teens travelling through Europe, Asia and Australia. She returned to Northern Ireland in 1992 to pursue her career in earnest, directing an award winning documentary “The Happy Gordons”  and an award nominated drama “Walk With Me”. In March 2000 Paula moved to New York where she worked with Killer Films learning about the USA film industry. Christine Vachon sent her to Los Angeles to work as 2^nd AD on the Bruce Wagner directed “Women in Film” with Portia De Rossi and Beverly D’Angelo. Her first feature script “Bluebird” is currently optioned by Jigsaw Pictures in Los Angeles and she is currently working on her third stageplay.

2003                    “Caius”          8 minute drama starring Nigel Hastings, directed by Marco Piana,.

2000           “Salvage” 7 minute drama starring Orla Brady and Clare Cathcart, directed by Maeve Murphy for New Moon Productions, commissioned by UTV, NIFC, Belfast City Council and British Screen.

1998                    “The John T One” Art House Drama produced through Cinekill Film Productions. Collaboration with John T Davis exhibited at OutArt Exhibition in the RHA Gallery Dublin.

1998                                         “Odd Man Out” development commissioned by Channel 4 about the different aspects of the Northern Irish Male written by John Lyttle.

1997                            “Women In Fiction” part of the Community Visions initiative resulting in a 26 minute drama “Walk With Me” shot on 16mm.  Nominated for a Belfast Arts Award.

1996                           “All About Kudos” Documentary pilot, development funded by Channel 4 Television, shot on location in New York.

1995                    “Splitting” for Battered Britain Series.  A documentary commissioned by Northern Ireland Film Council and shown on Channel 4 Television. Acquired by SBS Australia 1996. Galway Film Fleadh 1996, Cork Film Festival 1996. Exposure Film Festival, Brisbane, Australia..
