| I have five years experience using Avid to edit a wide variety of projects. I enjoy the creativity of editing and working as a freelance editor and edit assistant I have developed a high level of technical knowledge. I have recently completed a unique one-hour documentary about a rally from London to Mongolia and I’ve filmed and edited over 20 projects, including DVD’s for the Arts Council and the Prince’s Trust and a short film about travelling storytellers. I have been employed as an edit assistant by several TV production companies including Anglia TV, Shine and Imago Productions. I have worked freelance for Townhouse TV logging and digitizing Trisha for over two years. In April 2004 I completed a six-month course with Imago Productions, an independent television production company. I received practical training using professional equipment and I have had the opportunity to demonstrate these skills by working on broadcast productions. Starting as runner I worked on six Imago series including Mistresses for ITV and Grudge Match for Channel 4. I’m interested in all areas of media production and I’ve been employed as a freelance cameraman and sound recordist. I have my own equipment including a Sony PD170 and a full size boom mic, an Avid editing suite and laptop running Avid Xpress Pro HD. I have worked in many different media environments and I’m a confident and friendly individual who appreciates working for creative and interesting companies.
