ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Audio Consultant for the Toronto International Film Festival – Gala Venues, duties include the modification of performance halls, e.g. Roy Thomson Hall, The Elgin Theater and Ryerson Theater into cinemas that surpass THX specifications.
• System Design and Integration of IAOD/Toronto Film School’s 5.1 teaching facility mix room.
• Authored a 40 lecture (120-hour), course on post-production audio, from the perception of vision to Dolby E technologies.
• Re-designed, budgeted, selected equipment and supervised the installation of Toronto’s first Dolby Digital Authorized, 5.1 “small room”.
• Researched developed and implemented the first use of Ambisonic technologies for Imax, which subsequently resulted in the development of the Personal Sound Environment (PSE) audio system.
• Integrated spatial locating techniques and mixed the first OmniMax 3-D “Solido” film.
• Responsible for mixing approximately 10% of the world Imax library.
• Recorded and temp mixed an Oscar Peterson all electronic album at his home studio.
