Responsibilities included assisting with the lighting of the different studio sets and blue screens, close communication with the gaffer and being on hand to assist with camera and grips when required. 05/08 A/V Arena Shoot (Centre Screen Productions) (Runner/Fixer/Driver) Five days working on shoot for Audio/Visual Installation at new museum in Leeds. Responsibilities included production assisting on location, close communication with director and producer, transporting crew and equipment to and from filming locations, also running errands. 04/08 Enterprise Britain Promo DVD (Limehouse Films) (Production Assistant) Second day of two day shoot working for Enterprise Britain Promotional DVD. Responsibilities included logging shots and information, timekeeping, camera assisting on city location; changing batteries, tapes, recording bars and tone, close communication with director and also running errands. 03/08 Enterprise Britain Promo DVD (Limehouse Films) (Production Assistant) First day of two day shoot for Enterprise Britain Promotional DVD. Responsibilities included logging shots and information, timekeeping, assisting camera team and director, also general running errands. 03/08 William Hill – Staff Incentive Draw (Limehouse Films) (Floor Runner/Driver) A day’s work on the blue screen studio shoot for William Hill Staff Incentive Draw. Responsibilities included logging shots and information, assisting camera team and running errands. 03/08 Hudcett CD-ROM (Sequals) (Camera Operator) Two day’s work on shoot for multimedia CD-ROM. Operation of Sony PD 170 camera for interviews and actuality footage of subjects. 01/08 Emmerdale (ITV Drama) (Camera Assistant) Two weeks work experience in the Camera Dept. Main responsibilities include camera assisting on location and cable clearing in studio. 01/08 Hudcett CD-ROM (Sequals) (Camera Operator) A day’s work on shoot for multimedia CD-ROM. Operation of Sony PD 170 camera for interviews, cutaways and vox pops. 12/07 Living History (Pilot – Limehouse Films) (Floor Runner) Two days working on the green screen studio shoot for ‘Living History’ pilot. Responsibilities included logging shots and information, assisting camera team and running errands. 12/07 ‘UNITE’ (Yorkshire Regional Winner, 60 Seconds of Fame – Limehouse Films) (3rd AD) A day’s shoot working on ‘UNITE’ a short film for the Orange Bafta awards, 60 Seconds of Fame. Responsibilities included escorting supporting artists to and from location, constant communication with director and the other assistant’s also general running errands. 12/07 Living History (Test Shoot – Limehouse Films) (Floor Runner) A day’s work on the green screen studio test shoot for ‘Living History’ pilot. Responsibilities included logging shots and information, assisting camera team and running errands. 10/07 ‘Mother, Mine’ (Screen Yorkshire Short – SYFN) (Runner/Driver) Five day shoot working on short film ‘Mother Mine’ commissioned by Screen Yorkshire. Responsibilities included assisting the camera team, lighting dept and set design, constant communication with assistant directors, running errands and transporting artistes and crew to and from location. 06/07 The Bamburgh Research Project (BRP 07) (Media Supervisor/Camera Operator) A week’s work experience as follow up to a previous placement, after being invited back. Undertaking a more supervisory role – organising crew logistics, production equipment, log sheets and tapes. 06/06 The Bamburgh Research Project (BRP 06) (Camera Operator) A three-week work experience placement as part of the media team creating a video archive of the archaeological dig at Bamburgh Castle.
