EMPLOYMENT PROFILE
I have just finished working f/t for the Press Association, where I operated as a Multimedia Journalist, shooting/editing anything up to 4 news packages a day for online clients such as MSN, AOL, TISCALI, NEWSQUEST.
Please see showreel link http://www.pbshowfolio.com/profile/isabelewen
I have also freelanced as a Video Journalist and Day Broadcast Journalist for the BBC in Hull which broadcasts to East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. I produced news packages to air on the lunchtime and evening news.
Previous to working for the PA I was a Self-Shooting PD for production company and iptv channel SAIL TV which specialises in sailing and watersports. I worked on international sailing events including the Volvo Ocean Race, World Match Racing Tour and America's Cup. In the summer of 2007, I lived in Valencia for the duration of the 32nd America's Cup working solo to create 40 colour pieces, each of a few minutes in length, reflecting city life during the international sailing event.
On top of the filming and editing, I’ve knowledge of encoding and uploading video using various software.
I’ve also worked in Radio as a Travel Report for “The Saint” based in Southampton. I’d watch the monitors and report on traffic spots every fifteen minutes.

I started out in the industry as a Researcher on the quiz show "National Geo-Genius." My work included verifying questions, creating a foreign pronunciation guide for the presenter, contacting contestants, and transcribing.
During this time, I also worked as Production Secretary on "That's Esther," contacting celebrity guests, arranging their transport, booking equipment and hire cars, making call sheets, up dating the schedule, and researching stories.
I am now based in Hampshire, working freelance with a Sony Z1 video camera kit and Premiere CS4 Editing.
