· Assisted in the management and smooth-running of the shoot. Included coordinating runners and filling in for the 1st Assistant Director in his absence.

· Monitored continuity and and dialogue on 20-minute martial arts film, including assurance of continuity with breakaway props and set.
1st AD/Editor – Nutrition & Health Institute Web Tutorials (prod. Nutrition and Health Institute, dir. Ben Davidson) June 2009
· Managed the shoot of a series of corporate web tutorials and promos for a health website. Also assisted in much of preproduction, such as equipment hire, location scouting and hiring crew whilst working with an extremely tight budget.
· Created a promotional trailer for the tutorials using Final Cut Studio applications.
Studio Runner – E-Zee “Dance For Me” (prod. Smash TV, dir. Sheridan De Myers) June 2009
· Fulfilled duties as a Studio Runner as well as assisting the Art Director with painting and constructing sets and repainting the (massive!) walls at Black Island studios.
Production Coordinator – Phil’s Room (prod. Castellana International Productions, dir. Jesus Mateos) May 2009
· Responsibilities included advertising for/hiring extras and crew, hiring equipment, liaising with authorities over location permits, organising catering and on occasion cooking for 15+ cast and crew.
· Was also responsible for carrying all necessary paperwork and permits on set, acting as the first aider on set as well as reimbursing all of the cast and crews expenses.
Runner/First Aider – First Days of Spring (prod. Parkville Pictures, dir. Charlie Fink) March 2009
· Assisted with virtually all matters of production but was primarily assigned to assisting the 1st AD.
· Responsibilities included giving cast and crew first aid, directing extras, dealing with the public on location and relaying information to the Director, DP, Producer and cast.

· Responsibilities included: monitoring dialogue, keeping continuity in the set, props and actors/framing

· Assisted the 1st AD, production manager and DP.

· Duties on set were to log each shot as it was filmed and monitor the continuity with detailed notes and photographs
Intern – Little Bird Co. July-August 2008
· Work included operating a telephone switchboard, making deliveries, reading screenplays, completing script reports and liaising (both personally and over the phone) with various contacts including the BBC and Working Title.
Original period was to be three weeks, but the company requested that the period of employment be extended a further three weeks.

· Core subjects and skills include screenwriting and filmmaking as well as film analysis and interpretation
· Modules included Postmodernism, Documentary, American Cinema and Black Cinema.
New York Film Academy 2004
· An 8-week course involving intensive practical filmmaking as well as lectures in screenwriting, directing, editing and set protocol. Roles were rotated in making 15 films over the course of eight weeks exclusively on Arri S 16mm cameras and Final Cut Pro.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND INTERESTS
Filmmaking
· Graduating film at University College Falmouth (entitled “Resolve”) officially selected at several international film festivals. It also received the Golden Palm at the Mexico Film Festival 2009 and a Honourable Mention at the Washougal International Film Festival.
· Involved in over twenty-five other student films: 7 as Director, 4 as 1st Assistant Director, 7 as Director of Photography, 4 as a Production/Camera Assistant and more.
· Have experience in a diverse range of camera formats, including 16mm, MiniDV and HD.
· Extensively experienced in Avid Express, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier.
· Acted as an Extra in The Marine II (produced by WWE Films and Living Film) whilst travelling in Thailand in December 2008.
Film Enthusiast
· Currently in negotiations with German publishing house VDM Verlag Dr. Müller Aktiengesellschaft & Co. to publish a dissertation written as part of BA Film Studies entitled Reality Through Fiction: The Capabilities of Social Realism in the Past, Present and Future as a stand-alone book.
· 2002-2003 Head of the Bedales Film Society (a group of students in organising, advertising, funding and legally screening films in a small cinema on a variety of formats).
· Columnist in student newspaper The B-Daily.
Travel
· Lived in Venice for six weeks in early 2005 as part of the John Hall History of Art course. Also travelled to Florence and Rome.
· Travelled through Australia on Gap Year entirely alone.
