I have recently graduated as a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist from West Thames College, in which I gained a HND in Specialist Makeup. I am trained within the fields of Film/TV, Fashion and Editorial, Photographic, Wig Styling, Hair Styling, Basic Haircutting, Mens Grooming, Bodypainting, Casualty and small Prosthetics. I am very interested in getting work as a trainee or to gain extra work experience and would love the chance to assist someone who is willing to take me on. I am very hard working and an excellent brush cleaner. I love my work and am very confident in what I do.
I have previously had work experience on Music Videos, Student Films, Photographic and most recently on an ITV Film Production. I work very well as part of a team whilst working quickly and efficiently. I would love the opportunity to work with you.

Estee Lauder Bureau – I work as a makeup artist on counter for the brands that they own. I also benefit from being trained on these brands which increases my product knowledge. I have been trained with; Estee Lauder, Prescriptives, Origins, Jo Malone and Aveda.

2002-2007
Makeup Assistant – at Chelmsford Young Generation Amateur Musical Society (CYGAMS) and Chelmsford Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society (CAODS), I applied straight makeup to the chorus and some character makeup to the main characters e.g. ageing, I helped in applying postiche and putting on wigs. I worked on several musicals over 5 years, including; Les MIserables, Annie, Sweeney Todd, A Christmas Carol, Seussical the Musical, Anything Goes.

Makeup Trainee – I did 3 days work experience as a trainee for Denise Kum and Carol Greenfield on an ITV production of a film called ‘Dive’, this included hair and makeup on extras and working alongside Denise and Carol offering them any assistance they needed.

Makeup Artist – with the London Film Academy, I worked on a 4 minute film called ‘Happy Family’ where I did the hair and makeup.

Makeup Artist – for a student film at TVU, this included applying casualty make up for a scene where a man was being severely beaten up.

Makeup Artist – Fashion TV, here I had to create a body painting based on an Eighteenth Century corset that was to be featured on the Fashion TV channel as part of London Fashion Week. I worked as part of a team who all created different body paints representing the best of British Fashion.

Makeup Assistant – London Fashion Week for up and coming designer Hass Idriss at his debut show. I assisted Denise Delaney. Work from this show was published in Amelia’s Magazine online.

Makeup Artist - for a fashion styling shoot at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, here I had to create an aged makeup combined with a classic style makeup reminiscent of Coco Chanel.

Makeup Artist - I worked on a photographic shoot for an AIDS calendar, which included creating a wet look black body paint.

Makeup Artist – for Wella Trend Vision 2008 Competition with the Ginger Group hairdressers in Ealing Broadway, I worked alongside the hairdressers to create a makeup that complimented their hair designs for their photographic heats.
