My name is Jeff Gaumer, I attended the University of Iowa and continued on to the New York Film Academy in 2007. Since August 2008 I have been working as a free-lance filmmaker in many different crew positions and types of projects.
I recently just finished up working as a Tech PA/Media Manager for the HBO series "Taxicab Confessions" for the last 4 months. I learned a lot there and made some wonderful connections, but I am excited to get back out there and make some more great contacts and further my skills in the film industry. I am looking to gain as much experience as I can and to meet and work with some great people.
I am familiar and have worked in all crew positions but my main strengths and focus are DP, Camera Operator and AC. I have also received quite a few call backs for Sound Mixing/Boom but it is not my main area of focus. I am familiar with the RED camera, Panisonic HVX and DVX, Sony EX1 and EX3, Canon XLH1 and XL2, Arri-S and Arri-SR and Bolex 16mm. As well as Letus and Redrock M2 35mm adapters.
