2001 • Member of the Venezuelan Delegation to the IX International Philosophy Olympiads (Philadelphia, PA. USA). Chosen by the Club of Rome, Venezuelan Chapter, and the Simón Bolívar University’s Philosophy Department. The competition consisted in writing an essay in English about Tolerance, based on Karl J. Popper’s works.
2001 • Recognition received from the Excelsior Foundation, Caracas Metropolitan Town Hall, at the IX Act of Acknowledgment and Encouragement to Students, for an outstanding performance at the IX International Philosophy Olympiads.
COMMUNITARY WORK
2007 • CECODAP. Venezuelan organization that defends children and teenagers’ human rights. Ad Honorem participation as Assistant Art Director, Props Master & Set Manager for three advertising spots (part of a campaign that promoted the Adults’ Supervision of kids whilst browsing the Internet).
2001 • INDASE. Education Centre for children with low economic resources. Thirty (30) hours. Collaborator at visiting, reading, playing with, and nursing kids of the Centre (ages 4-7).
