Personal Summary

I am creative, ambitious and outgoing. I have been passionate about fashion, imagery, styling and make-up since being a child. As well as my passion for make-up, a huge part of what I enjoy is creating ideas and sets for photo shoots.

Since commencing my make-up course nearly two years ago, I have been working with fashion and beauty photographers in both a paid and voluntary capacity to build up a professional portfolio and a solid foundation of knowledge of working in a photographic studio as part of a creative team.

Working with both models and every day people is equally fulfilling for me. Through experience of working with both, I have built up an understanding of the skills required for each and love the transformation process, helping the individual to feel great.

It is important to me to keep growing and challenging myself as an artist and I enjoy trying out new ideas and looks. It is also important to me to work in a strong team with fun and hard work going hand in hand. I pride myself on my excellent communication skills and creativity.

Freelance Work Experience

Attila Zsargo – Fashion and Beauty Photographer - February 08 - Present

I work with Attila on an on going basis in both a voluntary and paid capacity. My work with him will range from commercial looks to high fashion. We work together around three times a month. For all shoots with Attila, I style the hair and clothing and will also provide art direction. Together we have built up a strong working relationship where we share our ideas and create a fun and open environment for the photo shoots to take place with a clear idea of what we are trying to achieve.

Gideon Thomas – Fashion Photographer – August 08 – Present

I work with Gideon on and on going basis in a voluntary capacity to build on both his portfolio and mine. Gideon will nearly always shoot on location and I will always be required to provide hair styling and sometimes fashion styling. He also asks me to be involved with direction whilst shooting and we will always set out a clear objective and theme for the shoot.

Young Designer of the Year Fashion Show – The Triangle Shopping Centre –  Sept 08

Working in association with The Body Shop to provide make-up for the catwalk models. Working to a brief to create a look on each model and achieve continuity for each show.

Jason Sanderson – Fashion and Artistic Photographer – Spring 08

I provided make-up and hair styling for Jason for a model portfolio day. I was required to do one fashion make-up look and one smoky eye look. I also provided hair and make-up for a make over day as well where I was required to do one natural look and one fashion look for the client.

Toni & Guy Academy Graduate Show – May 08

I provided make-up for three graduates of the Toni & Guy Academy, working to a brief and using my own creativity to enhance their hair cutting and styling. This was on a voluntary basis and I was invited to participate by an employee of Toni & Guy based on merit of my work.

Bridal Make-Up and Hair – December 07 – Present

I regularly work with Brides and their parties providing both make-up and hair. This involves listening carefully to the client’s needs and sometimes trying out numerous looks and styles to achieve the perfect image. I am always generous with my time and enjoy the process of creating a look that makes the client happy and feel confident. I like creating a relaxed atmosphere for this work and assure the client that they can tell me when they are or are not happy with the looks that we try out.
