Personal Statement
With script supervising I like to get involved in the root of a film at a level where I can monitor, record and when needed, discuss and advise on the contents of a script in relation to it being filmed. The continuity side of the role I excel at. I am very good at stepping back and simply observing, recording and when required advising on the continuity of the script; movements and actions of actors and props; and of lines of action. My paperwork is very efficient and my timings are very accurate. I am a very observant person and have a keen eye for detail. I also have a good understanding of the boundaries of script supervising and a great awareness of the balance of my role and the artistic license of the film and so can easily adapt to different styles of directing and different styles of filmmaking.
