PAST EMPLOYMENT
April 2006 – April 2009: Working as a member of the Front of House team at Chichester Festival Theatre. This job has really taught me to work coherently within a team and to hone my communication skills. Many of the patrons at the theatre are elderly or have a disability and this job has helped me to consider others. This job also requires cash handling.
July-September 2008: Working as a wigs mistress on Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of the Music Man. Reference available on application. During this job I was working closely with five actresses and I was in charge of the dressing and styling of their wigs. This job taught me about working closely in a department as well as effectively working in a team to a tight time schedule.
WORK EXPERIENCE
September 2008: Working as a make -up artist for Time Out magazine for the Halloween edition for the second year running. This shoot was based around the Adams Family. I worked closely with two colleagues to produce work of a high standard with minimal resources and materials available to us.
September 2008: Working as a make-up artist for Ioannis Dimtriousis at London Fashion Week: Day Four Summer/Spring 09. This involved working under difficult and cramped conditions to a very strict time schedule; however through working closely as a team, our work was successful.
June 2008: Work experience at London Studios, working on the Graham Norton Show with guests Juliette Binoche and Gordon Ramsey.
June 2008: Working as make-up artist for Browns clothes store for a high profile event for London Jewellery Week.
May 2008: Work experience for one week at the National theatre in the make-up and hair department being trained especially in wigs by head of department Joyce Beagerie. This was excellent experience and improved my hair skills considerably.
May 2008: Work experience in the wig departments at Les Miserables, Wicked, Sound of Music and Dirty Dancing.
March 2008: Working as a make-up artist for Brown’s launch of their summer/spring collection: In Full Bloom. The event was in association with Harper's Bazaar magazine.
January 2008: Working as a make-up artist at the Design Museum for a private event sponsored by L’Oreal.
October 2007: Working as the make-up artist on a London College of Communication graduate film: Moebius Lane. This included working in difficult, unpredictable conditions, depending on where the crew were shooting. I was in charge of making up all the actors in this film.
September 2007: Working as a make-up artist for Time Out magazine for the Halloween edition. On this job, I worked with a team of three other make-up artists to recreate three horror movies set in London such as Shaun of the Dead and American Werewolf in London.

September 2007: Working as a make-up artist for the waitresses at the Goodwood Revival Motor Racing Ball. During this job, I was located at Goodwood House and I had a very short period of time to work on approximately one hundred girls, ensuring they all looked the same in a 1960s-swinging theme, working to a very strict time limit.
August - September 2007: Working on the film set of Room, Leodor Productions. I was the chief make-up artist on this independent film. I worked closely with the director and was involved in the aesthetic decisions.
August 2003: Shadowing Fae Hammond as a make-up artist on the set of Layer Cake. This job really opened my eyes about working on a film set and the pressures that are put on make-up artists to perform. This was a most exhausting yet exhilarating experience. I was working with the director Matthew Vaughn and actors including Daniel Craig and Sienna Miller.
