The channel is among the fastest growing and most dynamic players in mass media in the region and covers worldwide and Middle East news, it specializes in broadcasting 24-hour news and the production of social/political documentaries.
Handled three main responsibilities simultaneously namely that of a News Editor, Promo Designer & Program Editor.
Responsibilities:
• Managing all media editing work right from sourcing of pictures and sound in collaboration with associate producers to editing all rushes in one sequence on the Avid NewsCutter
• Ensuring that the media edited is an exact match with its corresponding report story, modifying content to adapt to the required running time and meeting on air deadlines.
• Transferring all edited sequences to the news control room using Avid Unity ISIS in addition to using apple Final cut pro and working with the producer to make a short promotion for the breaking news.
• Recording voiceovers while controlling and monitoring the quality of sound recorded.
• Tracking the progress of assignments during the editing process, brainstorming on key visual and auditory elements of sequences created and performing re-editing if required.
• Confirming that equipment in use are operating according to the technical and safety standards, arranging backup equipment, ensuring the sufficiency of recording material prepared, and resolving all technical issues to ascertain readiness for live broadcasts.

The channel is a newly started TV channel in Syria and caters to a diverse viewership. Worked as a News Editor with additional responsibility in the engineering department.
Responsibilities :
• Oversaw the quality and progress of audio, vision engineering and editing and experimented with different styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements.
• Received and edited media briefs, assembled all raw footage, input uncut rushes and sound in addition to synchronizing and storing them for retrieval later.
• Digitally edited files to formulate video sequences and determined what was usable in addition to overseeing editing right upto the final stages where the program would be ready to air live.
• Utilized an Inca CG V2.0 editor and wrote the necessary titles and graphics on air.
