| Bernard Mordan 07944985775 bernardmordan@yahoo.co.uk 2005 – Present Freelance Film maker I have been producing videos for charities and educational institutions for the last three years. This has given me professional experience of each aspect of video production, from negotiating the project brief, organising shooting, the filming and recording, editing with Final Cut Pro and delivering the final DVD using DVD studio Pro. SEPT 2008: Delivery of Raising the Roof promotional video for Trinity College of Music. JUN 2008: On going filming for Trinity College out reach programme called Raising the Roof - Film due to be produced this summer FEB 2008: 'Brass Routes' filmed a live brass concert and produced a 2 disc set DVD professionally reproduced for distribution. NOV 2007: ‘Bounty Project’ with Trinity college of music, APT gallery and St Stephens School (see Showreel) OCT 2007: ‘Project Gem’ fund raising video for a charity working with young disadvantaged people in Hackney and Shepherds Bush (www.projectgem.org). APR 2007: I worked as an off-line editor for the ‘Now Play it’ website, I operated a camera on various shoots, and spend three weeks doing colour corrections for the final videos (www.nowplayit.com). 2005 – 2007: I am used regularly by EMI music uk to film live music events (experience of using digibeta tape format), and have produced web content for relentless records. JULY 2007: Evaluation videos for Trinity College of Music’s project work in schools, OAP groups and community centres on the Isle of Dogs. APR 2007: Produced a series of 6 looping animations based on themes like Fire, Industry, and Countryside. These formed a back projection for a schools performance with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. JAN 2007: An animation project for young refuge school leavers in partnership with ‘Tate Britain’, this material came out of 8 weeks of 2hour workshops I ran with a collaborator. JUNE 2006: Pilot work at Lilian Baylis School which later developed into a funded animation project APR 2006: ‘Stereotypes’ documentary film of a music project between Forest Hill School and Brent Knoll special school DEC 2005: I made a presentation video for Bain and Company about there out reach work entitled - Buisness action on homelessness AUG 2005: I produced a documentary film for ‘Drake Music Project’ who specialise in making music accessible for the disabled community. APR 2005: I produced a documentary film in Cardiff about the forming of a sucessful community project called 'The Friends and Neighbours Groups'
