WORK EXPERIENCE

·Working in this small but versatile international company, I was fortunate to work in many departments and capacities alongside my main duties as a Production Coordinator (Junior)/Researcher (Junior). My duties included researching, proposing and organising future productions for the production/editorial team whilst liaising with curators to formulate playlists and tailored viewing schedules (magazine issues) for individual community members. Often, I assisted the Production Team on location with in-house content as a Runner, and occasionally was given sole responsibility of low profile productions including filming, directing and editorial on Premier/Final Cut Pro. Furthermore, I frequently assisted the Editorial team as an Editor on commissioned works, currently working on several high profile projects for NBC. Lastly, I regularly assisted Marketing and PR in writing press releases, maintaining relations with sponsors and collaborators and SEO optimisation (blogs, creating URL links to other sites) as well as being responsible for the general office administration.

·Working as a University Brand Manager, I was responsible for the promotion on and off campus of an international brand. This included liaising with local stores, demographic research and analysis, along with organisinglocal and national promotional events such as music concerts and sport tournaments. Furthermore, whilst I was responsible for the promotion of one particular scouted act, the groupreceived a front cover mount on ArtRocker and a PR contract. This job had a high level of brand image and event management and awarded me the Career Development Award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

·This highly coveted internship provided me with a month of work experience at several desks. This included a week at Guardian Unlimited, imbedding articles with html and working with video and image production. I also spent substantial time at The Guide writing published articles, reviewing film, television and music and, researching events along with general office administration.

·Working in one of the biggest venues at Edinburgh festival, I worked in many departments. Mainly in front of house, I also worked in administration, dealing with counter and ticket management, and client services acting as a PA to touring companies. Other duties included liaising with Marketing and Operations.

·Working in both Editorial and Production for this academic publisher, I have worked on a vast range of future releases.Whilst being responsible for the general office admin, I have copy-edited new works, and worked with numerous third parties to gain copyright permissions as well as graphically enhancing texts in production.

·This PA like position was working for the VP of Sales in this international luxury perfume company. The position included overseeing branch managers, event/conference organisation and management, liaising with PR, Merchandise, Operations and Wholesale, whilst managing the small shop front the head office maintained (visual merchandising and stock responsibility included).
·General office duties included filing, photocopying, post-sorting, letter writing, and using Excel and Word.
·Some work within marketing also was required including compiling the Staff Christmas Handbook and arranging PR around London Fashion Week.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND OTHER DATA
·Editor: As Arts Editor of The Warwick Boar, I run a large team, commission, lay-up and edit articles, whilst writing my own. I regularly liase with PR companies and obtained the first student interview with The Kills. I am also well-versed with Photoshop and InDesign due to this role.
·Teacher: I was recently employed by the Revision Academy to host a two day intensive course for AS Level English students in London.
·Film:As film is one of my great passions, I have recently undergone a series of film projects, from acting as a Researcher for Spectacle Independent Films, to being a Runner on a recent Fool Angel Studio production, as well as winning several awards in amateur film competition 'The ShootOut'.
·Director: I recently directed a sell-out show for the world’s biggest student performance art festival.
·Radio: I also hosted my own popular student radio show as well as being Assistant News Editor on local station Link FM.
·Music: I have had my music reviews published in reputable journals such as Dish and Pitchfork and have promoted for musicians under big labels EMI and Polydor.
