Hard working, efficient and creative camera operator.

I am looking to increase my knowledge and experience on all styles of television programmes. I am currently working as a freelance camera assistant on Coronation Street and Hollyoaks. I have recently completed a short film for the National Lottery channel on the Z1 camera, working in conjunction with Endemol. This is in addition to creating short films, documentaries and a 20 minute television programme as part of my BA (Hons) Media Professional Studies 2:1 (LJMU Skillset Media Academy).

I have skills in both pre and post production, from researching a programme idea, to creating a shooting script through to filming and editing. I am a trained 2nd camera assistant and can lay track, set up equipment and cable bash.

I can use Sony DSR-450, HDC-950, HDC-1500, HDV Z1 and mini DV cameras. I can also edit on Avid Express and Avid Media Composer.

I would ideally like to work in entertainment television / drama, but would also like to work in different areas including sports programming, working my way up to becoming a camera operator.
