| 26/09/2008 Hello, I have been working in the UK Film industry for the past ten years, during this time I have gained experience and received credits for my work as Production Manager, Line producer and Producer on feature films, short films, music videos, commercials and creative documentaries. During my career I have worked on a varied & diverse collection of projects, I have gained access to, and experience from, all aspects of production process from inception to completion. This has provided me with extensive skills including: script development, production budget & scheduling, budget management & monitoring [and an in depth understanding of the responsibility this brings] and the ability & decision-making skills to deal with the variety of issues that arise during the production process. I have the ability to work creatively while under pressure of tight deadlines through development and when amendments are required during production. I have strong planning & organisational skills with the ability to multi-task. I have excellent people & communication skills and I am a good negotiator with attention to detail. During my time as Development Manager at LA Productions I produced two of the Digital Shorts schemes for UK Film Council & North West Vision & Media [2003 & 2004] which gave me experience of working with new & emerging Directors. As part of the scheme I worked with established industry professionals to develop training programmes that would support Directors in pre production, production and through post production. I have an in depth understanding of the process of script development and have worked with both new & emerging & more established writers. I understand & appreciate the empathy and sensitivity required during the script development process. I have in depth & practical ‘hands on’ experience of working under the pressure of tight deadlines and the ability & stamina to maintain a calm approach and my sense of humour. Thank you.
