| The BA Fine Art course at Goldsmiths College is based on sustained independent study and reinforces the importance of being self-led and ambitious as preparation for a career in any creative industry. As a result, this nurtures my passion to create and constantly progress as a working artist. The Fine Art course is diverse and spans a broad range of interdisciplinary practice. This gave me the opportunity to pursue my interests and specialise in film and photography. Throughout the course I have created many shorts for my own studio practice. I am the sole producer and have had extensive hands-on experience with filming, directing and editing. Contextualisation and research is also a strong key factor of the course and encourages awareness of the role of fine art in the field of contemporary culture. Consequently, I have been able to analyse, discuss and debate my work critically and coherently. As part of my degree I have developed knowledge of a variety of editing and design programs such as Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, pro tools, Dream Weaver, and After Effects. I have also experimented with various techniques, such as blue screening.
