I have done work experience at YCTV for 5 weeks on a magazine show project called THE EDGE. I have been a runner for a different production companye and I have done presenting and co-ordinating the interviews for YCTV/ Ideastap. I have done many roles such as floor manager, script writing, presenting, directing inside a studio gallary as well as outside location. I have great passion for what I do.

Skills

Communication: Carried out meetings with all staff members, organised and working together towards the studio project.

Directing: Directed the first studio show of THE EDGE, communicating with floor manager to give instructions, 2 presenters and 3 camera operators and directed the shoots I wanted. Also done directed outside pieces for VTs as part of the project.

Camera: Using focus, white balance, colour bars, doing different types of shots, changing batteries.

Runner: Calling all performers to the set, checking the studio floor for wires and assisting the crew.

Research: Gaining information before attending events and interviews and information on the content of the show.

Script writing: Assigned to write all the studio scripts THE EDGE.

Floor manager: 2x on the studio, dealing with 2 presenters, 3 camera operators and communication with the director to give instructions on the studio floor.

Presenter: Presented 1 of the studio show THE EDGE and presented all the YCTV/ Ideastap interviews.

Producing co-ordinating: Carried out research on the interviews, cast the crew, made call sheets, carried out release forms and health and safty forms.
