RSP Productions was established in 1989 by Russell S. Platamone and is located in Simi Valley, California.

During the past nineteen years, Russell has offered services in producing, directing, writing, editing, cinematography, engineering and sound production.

For six years prior to RSP Productions, Russell was the Vice President of Siegal and Associates. He produced, directed and edited numerous commercial, corporate and safety programs and managed the film and videotape distribution side of the business.

Currently and during the past nine years, Russell has been the Director of Photography for DVD Special Features produced by Light Source and Imagery for Paramount, Sony, MGM, FOX and Warner Bros. Studios. He has been working on continuing television series including Crime Scene Investigation, CSI Miami, CSI New York, Ghost Whisperer and NCIS. Also included in the DVD productions are many movie releases.

From 2002 through 2007 he was the director of a three-camera production for the Grammy Sound Table produced at the NAM Convention.

RSP Productions offers camera packages including HD Cam, XD Cam, HDV, Digibeta and Beta SP equipment packages with production crews.

Prior to embarking into the entertainment business, he worked ten years in public service for the City of Inglewood and four years in the retail food industry.

During three successful careers, Russell has received professional awards, commendations and acknowledgements for services he has preformed.

Russell has dedicated hundreds of community volunteer hours including fifteen years with the Simi Valley School District and fifteen years with the American Youth Soccer Organization. Russell is currently serving as the AYSO Area 10E Safety Director. He is also a current member of the Simi Valley Police Foundation Business Associate Round Table.
