I have been developing my skills as a Design Visualization Specialist for over 8 years. My skills as a Videographer, 3d Animator and a Creative Artist are outstanding, as are my abilities as a communicator and instructor. I have also demonstrated proficiency in graphics, print, interactive media and audio/visual support.

Throughout my tenure with the Texas Department of Transportation, I frequently had the opportunity to use my skill set and I'm proud to say that the department was able to increase productivity dramatically since my arrival in 2001.

I enjoy the challenges, responsibility and goal setting involved in my work while applying my abilities to real-world situations. During my years of experience in the visual industry, I have demonstrated leadership, proficiency and creativity in a professional working environment. I graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Animation in the spring of 2001. I currently have over eight years professional experience in all aspects of video production, 3d animation, graphics creation and interactive media. Since July of that year, I have worked for the Texas Department of Transportation as the Houston Districts sole Design Visualization professional. Other than the Travel Division in Austin, Houston is the only district within TxDOT that created this position to promote its activities for the traveling public.

In addition to in-house presentations produced for both training and informational requirements for the district, I produced more than twenty videos ranging from ten to thirty minutes in length. These presentations were produced for State Representatives, the traveling public and Houston District employees and Houston TranStar. My leadership skills include both training and leading a creative team to assist me with the creation of multiple 3d animations and print projects which subsequently saved the Houston Districts Bridge Division anywhere from $5,000.00 to $25,000.00 per project.

In 2005/2006 the Texas Department of Transportations Houston District Engineer asked me to apply my knowledge to designing a professional production studio environment for the new district Headquarters facility located at 7600 Washington Ave. This project was my top priority and was sought through from creation to implementation.

Since 2001, I have served the audiovisual and communications needs of Houston TranStar with flexibility and creativity. Houston TranStar is a collaboration of four agencies that provide transportation management to the region. These agencies are the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO), the City of Houston, Harris County and the State of Texas Department of Transportation, or TxDOT. One example of my work, I produced a high-quality nine minute introductory video of Houston TranStar which is currently used in all public and private tours for more than six years. Its timeless quality allows Houston TranStar to continue showing the video long after many others would have become dated.
