I have a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa. I specialised in television for two years and produced numerous inserts during this time. I am multi-skilled and am able to work in many areas, ranging from research, to scripting, to camera-work and editing, as my degree has allowed me to work in all areas of television. I have had short documentaries broadcast on our national television station, the South African Broadcasting Corporation, the most recent one being a 5-minute diary documentary on transexualism, that is due to be broadcast in Septemeber 2007. I also have credits on a 24-minute invesitgative documentary. The latter two can be viewed at http://rutv4.ru.ac.za/?cat=10 and http://rutv4.ru.ac.za/?cat=50.

Besides the work I have done in television, I have also worked in the radio industry. I did some work for SAfm, one of our national radio stations, and I worked on our campus radio station, Rhodes Music Radio (RMR) for two years as an on-air producer. Thus, my skills in the broadcast industry are varied and adept. I feel that I will thus be able to fit into many areas of work.
