Managed several appliance categories for Fortune 500 brands (Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, LG and General Electric) at Sears. Projects included producing promotional materials for in-store marketing collateral, creating and implementing national rebate offers and training literature for all Sears, Kmart, The Great Indoors and Sears Hardware stores in the U.S.
• Developed and implemented in-store POP signage and sales tools for Whirlpool brand appliances for Sears’ dealer-stores that led to increased year-to-year sales.
• Project manager on several projects; one specific project managed the day-to-day activities of a 4-month project, which involved redesign of an existing national sales tool; worked with 6 different vendors, 8 name brand appliances and over 1500 parts and appliances.
• Managed the creation of web content for cooking and laundry categories on Sears.com.
• Reformatted the layout and production of u-channels for Whirlpool brand national promotions, which led to reduced cost in printing and shipping fees.
WCIU-TV, WEIGEL BROADCASTING 2003 - 2006
Marketing/Promotion Coordinator Chicago, IL
Responsible for the vertical marketing of multiple television stations, and managed co-op budgets during sweeps periods. Marketing consisted of billboard and other OOH, print, radio, grocery stores and Internet:
• Increased the ratings for our South Bend stations with an aggressive marketing campaign that consisted of print, radio and OOH
• Ensured the creative continuity of the station’s brand in all outside marketing collateral.
• Negotiated leveraged media buys which translated to fewer out-of-pocket expenses for the stations.
• Worked with other department heads to create promotional events (i.e. CIU Money Machine contests, online radio station sponsored giveaways, ABC Extreme Make-over auditions, and Bud Billiken Day Parade).
• Wrote copy for station press releases and print ads.
• Produced radio spots, created traffic instructions and distributed radio spots to various stations in IL and IN.
WPWR-TV 1999 – 2002

Primarily responsible for the day-to-day activities of producing a children’s half-hour television show.
