Work Experience:

 

  • January, 2009 – April, 2009: Producing, directing and post-production

Writing a script for, organizing and directing the shoot of a 10 minute short student film at Royal Holloway, University of London. Some of the jobs executed were: casting, assisting and instructing the technical staff, finding additional crew members, directing and wrapping a complicated shoot in three days. The film was very well received by the departmental staff and the external examiners and acquired the highest academic grade (a first).

 

  • October, 2008 – Present: VJ, A/V work

Part time technician/VJ in one of London’s central night clubs (Disco 24) as a member of ‘Ecrest Lighting Solutions’. Duties include dealing with A/V equipment, maintaining the club’s computers, projectors, a multi-touch screen equipped bar and also carrying out VJ duties during events.

 

  • March, 2008 – May, 2009: IT Support         

Part time work as a member of IT staff at Royal Holloway, University of London. Duties included maintaining and updating the computers, printers, scanners and any other IT related equipment on campus, also installing new machines, dealing with network problems and providing IT support for students in need of assistance.

 

  • Summer of 2008: Assistant producer

Assistant producer for a highly popular Lithuanian TV series. Duties included making schedules for the crew and actors, managing timetables, getting permissions, finding locations, logging tapes and maintaining efficient performance of the crew on the set.
