  • Began working while finishing a post-graduate diploma at Fanshawe.
  • Duties include sound design, voice over recording, session preparation, music editing, dialogue editing and Foley recording in a Pro Tools based studio.
  • General PA duties and audio capture during green screen production shoots.
  • Product output mediums vary from television, radio, cinema and the Internet.

Paid Internship (Summer of 2008) and freelance engineer (Jan 2009 – Present)

  • Duties included sound effects editing, session preparation, music editing, dialogue editing, demo reel edits, Foley recording and quotes for sound design.
  • Other tasks included opening and closing the facility, cleaning the studios, tending to clients and making deliveries to marketing agencies.
  • Currently working for Company X on a freelance basis; whenever needed.

Quad Studios, Nashville, TN

Internship (Summer of 2007)

  • Opened and closed the facility daily which included cleaning, bookkeeping, working reception and preparing each of the four studios for the day’s sessions.
  • Tended to clients by having a strong knowledge of every room in order to quickly troubleshoot any problems that arose.
  • Assisted freelance and in-house engineers on numerous sessions daily, which required a great deal of versatility.
  • Ran errands and took care of any and all duties that came up throughout the day in order to ensure that each client had a professional, productive experience.

  • Recorded a variety of talent ranging from church choirs to country artists.
  • Main duties included Pro Tools operating, utilizing analog out board gear and placing microphones on the studio floor.
