n  Acquired further knowledge of camera operation and editting with Final Cut Pro through the successful production of the 2008 Black Student Organization documentary for our annual CAT performance.  The production received praise and notice by the college community.

n  Gained experience in play writing and directing through the production of my self written plays, Stacy’s Secret and Queen Bee  for the BSO CAT performance during 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 academic years.  The productions received notice and praise by members of the Kalamazoo College Theatre department.

n  Improved upon interpersonal and organizational skills through coordinating with Latino Student Organization and Southeast Asian Student Organization in the planning of La Fiesta Desi Soul, the successful first annual multicultural event that drew more than 200 college students in attendance.

n  Improve upon interpersonal skills by working with fellow RAs in planning events for residents, enforcing college residence hall policies and being available to residents for help if needed.

n  Assisted in planning the hall’s most successful event of the year, Trow Live Café, by organizing technical equipment and hosting the event, more than 200 residents attended.

n  Gained more knowledge of the production field of the film industry through being the personal intern to the Production Coordinator as well as assisting the Unit Production Manager and Accountant.  Duties included assisting in finding different accomdations for the crew and actors, answering phones, taking messages, and organizing important paperwork.
