DINOSAUR WRANGLER:

Host both main stage shows. The rugged character empowers children and families to challenge their fears and knowledge of science and dinosaurs. Wranglers perform multiple times a day during interactive puppet shows, as well host more intimate shows. Dinosaur Wranglers are also spokespersons for the Field Station and are sent to various promotional events as a team to perform and talk about the park throughout the region. Requirements: Applicants should love to perform and engage a role – and abide a provided script. Applicants must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including: direct sun, humidity, and rain. Hosts need to be reliable and able to memorize a speech and facts. Please be prepared to audition.

SHOW HOSTS:

Engage guests in interactive activities that include storytelling, workshops, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games. As a Show Host you must be enthusiastic about dinosaurs and prepared to share the knowledge you gain with guests. Hosts function as a barker before an activity begins – encouraging guests’ participation in the activity. Hosts will be required to improv transitions in the games and maintain a “character” for a prolonged period of time. Requirements: Applicants must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including: direct sun, humidity, and rain. Hosts need to be reliable and able to memorize a speech and facts. Please be prepared to audition.

The park is accessible to get to for NJ and NYC residents.

All Auditions will be made by appointment after Resume/Headshot review. You will be contacted to discuss audition availablity.
