Hi, please could anyone explain a none exclusive “commercial” contract with a new agent with the possibility of being added to the none commercial book after time.. Is this just a standard thing?

Hi Ray, I'm not sure it is necessarily a standard thing, I think it is dependent on the agency. However, I started off in the commercial division of my agency and am now fully represented. With the non-exclusive aspect, then if you start with them but then find an agency for full representation, you can leave. Hope that helps.

I'm with a non exclusive it means you can add on other non exclusive agents and have other agents apply work for you or you can also find work yourself and your agent won't be expected to have a commission. I prefer it than the exclusive agent as more opportunities are open to you with non exclusive.
