About me
I am 21 years old and i left college 3 years ago where i studied a BTEC national in Performing Arts. i am currently working to keep the money coming in and am looking to gain some new experiences in the performing arts industry. I am a grade 8 musical theatre singer and am an all rounder i love to sing, act and dance or do all three at the same time.My strongest area of performing i feel is singing and i have teaching experience. In acting i have had a few extras experiences on Hollyoaks and Coronation Street, as well as been on many TV shows in the audience. In terms of singing i have had a few professional gigs the most important one of them being on New Years Eve! I have recently set up a youth academy for performing arts in my local area with my partner and it went down a strom we are now making this a more perminant thing and opening it all year round! I love performing it is my main passion and goal in life. Any Questions please ask!! I look forward to hearing from you.Thanks.Skills

Highlights
-
no experience but fast learner and always looking to expand and develop skills. I am really keen to get into television work as it would be another skill to have. I feel that i would be well suited to this kind of work.

i have done dancing as a hobbie since a young age. i am of a basic dancing ability i can move with rhythm but most of my experience has been in musicals. I have had street dance training but have not done any exams.
Various school shows including: sleeping beauty, west side story, Sweeny Todd the musical, Cinderella, the nativity, fiddle on the roof, blood brothers and little women. I have always been in various projects including school showcases for singing, dancing and acting and have always studied it both in and out of main stream education. I am at grade 6 in my musical theatre singing exams, due to take my Grade 8 in April of this year.
I was in an amateur production of 'We Will Rock You' with St Pauls Players in Adlington in March 2008 which won NODA's 'Best Youth Production'. I have also been in 'Enigma : A west end production' as part of Imagine Productions which was supported by Sir Richard Attenborough. I played one of the ugly sisters in 'Cinderella' the pantomime with St Ambrose players in December 2008. I have been a member of St Ambrose amateur dramatics society for just over 2 years having been in 5 shows having leading roles in all of them, winning the award for 'Best Actress 2008' in my debut performance. I have since been awarded with 'Best Actress 2009' and 'Best Supporting Actress 2009'. I am also an active member of the St Ambrose executive committee and the musical committee. Currently I am Assistant Director to my partner for the February play ‘Loot’, I am hoping after gaining this experience as an assistant I will be able to go on to directing a musical/pantomime in the near future. I have sang with various choirs and vocal groups from a young age as well as doing solo shows, I won my local clubstars competition 2 years ago which was organized by Pete Waterman I was extremely proud as I got through to the regional finals. As a result of this the social club where the competition was held then asked me if i would sing for an hour on New Years Eve, this was my first professional Singing venture and I am expanding on this. I was also in a local theatre Group called 'Cre8 theatre' whilst i was with them we performed at the Lowther Pavilion, the launch of Preston FM and also following this we performed at the switch on of Southport Christmas Lights in 2008. I had a lot of creative input with this theatre group and sang and danced both solo and in choral numbers. I was also lucky enough in May 2009 to make my professional Television debut doing some extras work on Coronation Street and more recently have been lucky enough to be in the audience for X factor, Britain’s got talent, Loose Women, The Hollyoaks Music Show and also The Jeremy Kyle Show. In the last year I have also done some work on Hollyoaks, i thoroughly enjoyed this experience and i found it a great learning curve of the television environment and would love to continue on to bigger and better things with this as I feel it is very valuable to encounter as many different experiences as possible.
I am currently running along with my partner an annual summer school centered on Performing Arts. We have been sponsored by various local companies and have approached the local schools we already have over 20 members and this looks to be a budding project that will hopefully expand over the years. This project is now in its second year and we have keen interest to keep up with this and also to make weekly workshops available.
I am constantly looking for new challenges and new ventures and aim to please and suceed at whatever i do. -
