About me
I worked as a professional actress from 1983 until 1994, in Dublin, Ireland, simultaneously working as a freelance teacher/ trainer, in Drama and Voice Production and had my own drama school in North Dublin from 1994 to 2000. Other teaching and training included health organisations, community groups, drama groups, schools, colleges, youth clubs and adult education.From 2001 to 2019, I was employed as a Lecturer in Communications, in the Faculty of Business, Technological University Dublin (TUD) and continued to occasionally perform my own work at festivals, art clubs etc. I retired from this position in Sept. 2019 and I am now available for theatre work: acting, voice overs, etc. or teaching drama, voice production, presentation skills, or corporate role play etc.
Acting experience:
I worked as a professional actress from 1983 until 1994, in Dublin, Ireland. I have experience in theatre, acting, comedy, radio, TV(children's and comedy progs., adverts.) and some film. As a member of a comedy theatre company (Comic Souffle) I wrote and performed theatrical comedy (part of a comedy ensemble), venues included: The Project Arts Ctr., Andrews Lane Theatre, various community theatres in Dublin and regional venues. In the late 80’s and early 90’s, I wrote and performed TV sketches for children’s and comedy programmes, for RTE (PSB). Progs. Included: The Late Late Show, Nighthawks, Rant, Scratch Saturday, New Chestnuts, and the John Creedon Radio Show.

Additional information:
I wrote/devised and performed two one woman plays, Sylvia Plath, Dublin Fringe Fest.1997 and'One to Tango' performed in various venues including Powerscourt Theatre, Dublin, 2013 to 2014.
Recently I have been involved in Coisceim Dance Theatre, Dance Ensemble (over 55's) productions, dance, movement and spoken word.
