    Industry Awards

I was the main role in a student film that was awarded a special recognition award at RIFF (Reykjavík International Film Festival) in 2019.

    Acting experience

I was an extra a couple of times before going to the Film School. Before that I took a course in acting under two professional actors in Iceland.

I've done as much extra/background work as I can and have been recognized by casting agents during such takes and had the privilege to get some more interesting things to do such as getting some lines or improv and act with professional actors.

I've achieved the milestone of being recognized as a "good actor" by one of the leading casting agencies in Iceland.

I have experience in both film making and stage work. I've been with the Student Theater in Iceland for about two years, working as both an actor and in the management.

    Additional Skills

In addition to acting, I am also a graduated Multimedia Designer and took a BS degree in England in 3d Modelling and Animation. I haven't worked much in that industry but I do have good knowledge on the whole production procedure for film making, from pre production to post production and I believe that is beneficial for me as an actor and generally for anyone on set. It also gives me more interest in the work as I'm passionate about acting and also the whole procedure.

    About me

I've always been a comedian and used humor to get to know people and get people to like me. I've impersonated my friends and family and used acting in a variety of other ways. For a long time, I though my destiny was to work in the computer industry and even if I am good with computers in general, I lacked artistic skills and anatomy knowledge etc. to achieve a given level of skill in the 3d industry.

Once I got back from my studies in 3d, I was unemployed in Iceland for a few months. I went to the swimming pool every day to reminiscence in the hot tub. I sat there for hours every day, speculating on whether I had a place in acting and whether I should apply for the Film School. I decided, then backed out the next day, decided on it again and it continued for weeks.

Ultimately I applied and sent the greatest application I've ever written. I mentioned everything. My passion for creativity, my years of gaming where I used to be so different from other gamers ever since I was 4 years old, where I was always drawn to video games that offered great stories, characters, twists, romance, jealousy, life and death, sadness and emotional scenes.

I auditioned and got into the Film School of Iceland. My time there was some of the better years of my life and I used to absorb every bit of knowledge like a sponge. I had never experienced such interest in my life before.

I was sought after as an actor from every department for school projects and still am being sought after, three years after graduating. I am now marketing myself like crazy and I want to do everything. Filmmaking, theater work, voice acting etc.

I don't want to limit myself only to Iceland since work is very limited here. I love doing work here but it's just that...limited.

I think my English level is pretty good, especially written though. I can get a little bit nervous in situations where I need to speak English and this can lead to temporary damage to my vocabulary. As for accents and general speech, I would like to practice further and master more accents and I believe I could act with some variety of accents with proper training.
