Shorts:
“Night Never End” (Spojení, 2012, dir. Vladimír Kovár), a 30-minute psychological drama shot on the Red MX in cinemascopic format. An adventure in low-key lighting.
“Day of the Dragon” (Den Draka, 2010, dir. Michal Reich), the first Czech kungfu movie had a 4K digital workflow and is currently nominated for the Best Camera prize in China at the INMAF Festival.
“Bedazzlement” (Oslnení, 2007, dir. Vladimír Kovár), a 17-minute film shot on 16mm color film won the Best Cinematography award at the 2007 Famufest festival.
Documentaries:
"On the Road - The Meroe Island" (2012, dir. Radovan Síbrt) is a two-part, 52-minute travel movie documenting a three-week trip in the visually stunning and physically exhausting environment of the Sudan. Shot in HD for the Czech National TV.
“Wittgenstein’s Century” (2012, dir. Radovan Síbrt), a feature-length documentary is mapping over 3 years of ethnic and social conflicts in a prominent Czech mining region. Rarely seen these days, the film was shot on 16mm color stock and is currently in post.
“Prison/Art” (dir. Radovan Síbrt) is a 52-minute film about freedom that art brings to prison inmates. This HDSLR project follows several artist/inmate duos and will premiere in 2012.
“History of a Bullet” (2006, dir. Tomás Potocny) is a 18-minute action documentary, following an airsoft unit on their “war path”. Shot on b&w 16mm film stock.
Music/Dance/Theatre:
Worked independently, both as cinematographer and as editor on several music and dance projects.
Shot and designed music videos a live projection content for Provencal musician Miqueu Montanaro for two of his albums. One of these projects (La Polonaise, 2007, 35 minutes) was shot entirely on color and b&w 16mm stock.
A music video for The Tap Tap (2011, dir. Radovan Síbrt) shot on the RED One, a charity project for a group of handicapped children has already received close to half a million hits on Youtube and has won several Czech awards, including that of the Czech Advertisers' Guild.
Commercial and corporate videos:
Has extensive experience as an event videographer not only shooting, but also editing, color correcting and authoring content.
Has shot a series of 14 clips introducing the finalists of the Miss Czech Republic beauty pagan in 2011. Shot on HDSLR.
Has shot, directed and edited trailers for theatrical performances and art exhibitions.
