About me

After successfully accomplishing my German apprenticeship to become a tailor I gained additional knowledge of dressmaking and fashion design at the State School of Fashion Design in Stuttgart. There I made positive experience with CAD-Design and Pattern-Design, and also learned the manual handicraft of drawing and pattern-constructions, thus I worked in many different areas of fashion and costumes.

I started my career in theatres as a costume assistant at the Berliner Kammeroper and the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, both located in Berlin, Germany.
In order to convert the ideas of the costumes and the thought behind the plays my work at both theatres included a close cooperation with the employees of the theatres' other working areas.

Furthermore I worked for Aldiana Holiday Club in different countries and coordinated e.g. the costume department with financials, design and production of eight grand opening shows in Hurghada, Egypt. I also reinforced my knowledge in men dressmaking.
Recently I worked for the Bad Hersfelder Festspiele as a men's tailor and as one of the senior costume makers and a dresser at the musical Vom Geist der Weihnacht.

As a freelance costume designer, working with a range of different theatres throughout the year, I'm highly flexible and always open for new ideas. At the same time, I'm self-confident about my abilities and my creativity.
