About me
I am seeking a position that develops and challenges my skills. Since graduating from Leeds Trinity University I have been working as a freelance editor, working on projects including the documentary Britain’s Housing Crisis: A People-Powered Solution and the second series of Alive and Gigging, a music television series.I am currently shielding due to the Coronavirus Pandemic however this has not stopped me working as a freelancer. I was proud to work on the project Road to Recovery, which showcased talented poets, writers and artists: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLi7Qy_1kjQ
I have previously worked for Trinity Vision as a Production Assistant and a Student Mentor, and have had work experience placements at True North Productions, K7 Media and BBC’s Sunday Politics Show. Additional experience also includes working as a Runner for IMG Production’s coverage of York’s Dante Festival Meet.
In my Final Year Media Production Portfolio, the Artefact element, the production of a DVD containing final year students’ presentations to the Evaluation Board, scored 94%. I was responsible for all elements of the production, from studio layout, crew recruitment, live edit, post-production and physical DVD presentation.
During my second year of A Levels I created a music video for a local band, Sunburnt in December. Once completed it was submitted to the 2011 Co-operative Film Festival and was chosen to be screened at the festival held in Manchester that year.
