About me
Brian Thompson is an audio engineer, theatrical technician, and musician, currently living and working in the Turks and Caicos Islands, on the island of Providenciales, BWI.Brian has recently finished a yearlong stint at Club Med in the Turks and Caicos Islands as a sound and lighting technican. He holds an Associate of Occupational Arts in Recording Engineering and Digital Music Production from Madison Media Institute in Madison, Wisconsin. His varied scope of audio and technical theatre credits include FOH sound for plays and musicals, SFX editing and theatrical sound design, lighting, and scenic carpentry, as well as freelance recording engineering, stage management, and recording studio session work on woodwinds.
Brian has also worked in freelance, on-location choral and instrumental recording projects, studio and live sound projects, as well as studio session work on sax, woodwinds, and keys in SE Wisconsin. Recently Brian has had the opportunity to help with fixed installation and music space upgrades at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Parish in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
Now living and working for Norwegian Cruise Lines, aboard the Epic (Lounge Technician), Brian's plans for the future most certainly contain being a part of exciting productions and traveling to far-flung destinations.

Solid background in the fundamentals of music production and engineering including live and studio recording, theatrical FOH duties, has worked in freelance situations with choral and instrumental groups up to 70 persons. Experienced with live and
theatrical sound, sound design and has some lighting experience.
Experienced in ProTools HD/LE systems, Reason, Logic Pro 7 software, Stage Research SFX audio playback software, MIDI, digital and analog mixing consoles, has experience with conventional and digital lighting as well as ETC Expression II and Elation SceneSetter 24, SceneSetter 48 Lighting consoles.
