About me
As a commercial real estate broker who has completed over 100 million dollars in transaction value, I have vast experience with connecting people, managing transactions, and marketing all types of assets.I believe that the skills I have learned and acquired over the last 9 years are necessary to be
in the entertainment industry per my resume and cover letter. I possess and exhibit a great sense of communication, work ethic, and resilience and am able to think on the fly. Being the high-motor, ambitious and motivated self-starter that I am, I’m always waiting for the next opportunity to demonstrate how my traits can help me overcome any challenge.
In addition to my past experience, I’ve been shadowing my roommate at his post production office for the last three months, learning and observing the ins-and-outs of their daily operations which has given me significant insight on the Production and Entertainment Industry as a whole.
This same roommate is my writing partner. We lived together in Houston, Texas before he moved here to pursue a life in Film and Television. I've always had a passion for film and television and had never met anyone who knew as much or more about film than him and it was only natural that we started collaborating creatively. When he moved first, I must admit I was skeptical that I would be able to make it. But after a couple months of being a runner, he was hired as a PA to the Last Ship on TNT and eventually as a Production Coordinator for his favorite show, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia which encouraged me that this move was possible. At this point, we had been gaining serious ground in our writing and we ultimately decided doing it remotely was just not the same, so I eventually began planning my own journey to relocate and replant myself in a new industry about two years ago. Since then, I haven't looked back and am hungry and eager to breakthrough the entertainment industry in any way possible. Since being in LA, I've EP'd a short which the same roommate and I wrote, directed, and edited. I don't plan on slowing down as I want to take any and every avenue possible to learn more about my passion. In doing this, I understand I'll have to utilize the business skills I've accumulated over the years to integrate myself horizontally into the entertainment business. If given the opportunity, I will give 110% on any project.
