Domestic violence in the upper classes
As Shona struggles to cope with John, her unfaithful, violent and possessive husband, her main concern is the health and wellbeing of their 8 year old son, Sam, who she’s determined to shield from his father’s influence. When John taunts her about his latest extra marital affair, she finds the courage to ask yet again to be freed from the relationship, thereby setting in motion a series of events that will change the family forever.
