'Sempre' - an Italian word that's used as a musical direction meaning "always" or "throughout". What would happen if one day you get struck by a lightning bolt, you wake up from your coma to find that the traumatic injury you sustained in one part of the brain has unlocked hidden talents in another part? Do you remain the same person, or does the new re-wiring of your brain alter you to a person you’ve never known before? Sempre is a short film dramatizing a case of Acquired Savant Syndrome, in which a mild-mannered, middle-aged businessman transforms into an obsessive musical genius.
