One month job in Canada (as a Canadian citizen)
Greetings,
I'm an Italian-Canadian citizen, with dual citizenship. I was born, raised, and always lived in Italy.
I am thinking to spend a month in Canada later this year, ideally in October. I plan to spend one month a year for two or three years in order to move for a longer time, later.
I work as script supervisor and production assistant in italian cinema productions since several years, and I'd like to spend that month in Canada working in similar roles in local productions. That's why I'm planning to go to Vancouver, since I know that that's the main production area in Canada. The issue is that I don't know exactly how to search for a temporary job in this field while I'm still here in Italy.
Do you have any advice to offer? Do you think that my dual citizenship could help somehow, maybe in related fields such as film distribution?
