About me
I've always been a creative mind, and at a very early age, I decided to work in the arts.I've got my high school majoring in artistic studies, and then I focused my time on music: the nearest art in my life since I was born – everyone in my family played instruments, and all of them were big music lovers!
I studied electric guitar, classical guitar, piano, organ, electronic music, and I graduated in composition at the Venice Conservatoire of Music in 2018 with distinction.
Between 2019 and 2020, I spent four months in the United Kingdom as an Erasmus Student at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, then I came back to Venice to finish my MA degree – at the moment, I am in Venice, and I'll graduate in a few months.
I've always loved to work as a music composer for films: probably because of my training in visual arts, my intuition in finding relationships between sound and moving images has always been particularly keen.
I also quite love the collaborative process in which the director and composer's ideas merge, creating unique and powerful dramatic solutions.
During the years, I've composed music for different instrumentations: orchestra, choir, small/medium ensemble, solo, and electronic, always looking for a personal and unique sound but without any genre boundaries.
My music has been performed and broadcasted at festivals, institutions, and radio like RaiRadio3, La Biennale di Venezia, EXPO Venice, Pinault Foundation, MUTEK San Francisco, Moving Body Festival, Montréal International Festival of Films on Art, ThinkThank® Birmingham Science Museum, Los Angeles Lift-Off Festival, Screen.Dance Festival and others.
Additional skills:
I play several instruments:
classical and electric guitar, piano, organ, synthesizer, VST instruments, voice.
I'm also an enthusiastic collaborator, very interested in listening to others' ideas and always looking for an imaginative confrontation.
I'm highly prepared with technology and I'm able to use different software (not only musical software):
Finale Make Music, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Kontakt, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut, Pages, Numbers, Word , Excel
