The memories of his chaste, traditional Hindu mother and her tales of mythology and superstitions give him brief moments of peace and sanity.
Script No.2 - PRIEST. An adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's short story, THE OLIVE GROVE. The French Christian fishing village backdrop has been transposed to a Malayan tropical rubber plantation with a Tamil Hindu melieu. The original plot of a man running from his sinful past takes a new structure in storytelling.
