We are shooting a 20 second TV ad for a brand of children’s gummy vitamins.

Self-tape will be required - See instructions with roles. If you are unable to self-tape in the first instance please still apply with headshots/reels.

It’s a one-day shoot in a house in London/the surrounding area (exact location TBC). A shoot will be between 30th June – 8th July. The exact day is TBC.
You will need to obtain a performing licence from a local authority for your children (we will assist with this). A rehearsal meeting in advance of the shoot may be required, for a few hours in London. Exact day TBC.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Ideally, we are looking to fill all or some of the roles by casting a real family unit of 2 or 3 x siblings. But open to individual children too.

BACKGROUND:
We are looking for 3 children who could easily pass as siblings. We are looking for normal kids with attitudes. The actors will not speak to the camera but their ability to deliver convincing and engaging expressions of defiance, transitioning to reluctant interest, and ending in delight when they taste the vitamin gummy for the first time is central to the success of this advert.
The ad will feature animation that is overlaid onto defiant children’s faces. The actors will have to pretend they are interacting with the animation with hand movements.
The 3 siblings are having their breakfast and resisting taking their daily vitamins (a common daily occurrence). We see animated overlays over their mouths - a zip, drawbridge and safe door all slam closed to emphasise and dramatise their resistance. Actors will be asked to make gestures so that in post-production they are seen to be “interacting” with the special effects e.g. lifting a hand to push the vault door shut, or pulling the zip closed over their mouth. When mum introduces a new gummy vitamin they reluctantly give it a try, spurred on by the eldest sibling. Once the actors start to chew we see the expressions of delight appear on their faces.

FEES:
Shoot day session fees per role @ £250/day.
Hours will be in line with children’s performing times depending on the age of child. Children will require a chaperone, preferably a parent.
