I graduated from Trinity College of Music in 2011 with a 1st Class Bmus Honours degree in Music Performance, specialising in Voice and more specifically Musical Theatre. During my time at Trinity I was heavily involved in the performance life of the college, taking lead roles in 'Side By Side By Sondheim', 'The Rodgers and Hammerstein Concert', 'Camelot' and 'A Little Night Music'.
I have recently appeared as Olivia in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night in an Open Air Venue in Earls Court. Earlier in the year I undertook a solo show which I devised myself and performed at The Pheasantry on the King's Road. A venue I have performed in many times at Cabaret Confidential.
I am also part of a professional choir called The Rebel Chorus which was recently involved in My Gay Wedding: The Musical which was broadcast on Channel 4. The Rebel Chorus has also recorded a charity EP for Kaleidoscope Trust called 'Four Colours' and has released an album called The London Requiem, all by composer Benjamin Till. The album was released alongside a concert performance at Abney Park Cemetery in September and broadcast alongside BBC programme The Space and can be seen on their website www.thespace.org.. I am no stranger to hard work and this project itself required a lot from all of us a performers to be accurate and to be the best at what we do.
I have performed in a number of musicals over the years, the most recent performance was in the RBS Theatre Company performance of 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change' where I performed as a lead Woman in the show, taking on various characters and song styles. This was performed in May 2012 at The Bridewell Theatre. In October 2011 I was a soloist in 'Musicality: Songs from the Shows' at The Lost Theatre, Stockwell. I also performed as 'Woman' in Stephen Sondheim's 'Marry Me A Little' at Battersea Barge in June 2010.
Prior to my training at at Trinity I trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts for a Diploma in Musical Theatre and I also did a year Music Course called 'The Knack' run by English National Opera. Both courses involved performances at the end, ranging from Musical Theatre repertoire to an Operetta written for all the performers on the course. Throughout my life I have avidly pursued any performing opportunities I can and love every experience on a stage.
