About me
I have just returned from Australia (6 years there) and I am a pianist and singer with high pitched, soulful vocal melodies and harmonies influenced by a range of music from many different genres. My stage name is 'Natalyan' I am currently working on a self-written album. I began playing the piano at the age of 4 and quickly followed that by singing. Immediately I was hooked I have continued the piano throughout my life and use it as my main tool when composing. I have sung with many different kinds of talent and performed in numerous venues including the London Palladium. (Currently, other than songwriting/completing my album), I am a member of the Blues Kitchen Vocal Group whom perform every Sunday from 7.30pm - 9.30pm and a member of the London International Gospel Choir whom perform at charity events, award ceremonies, X Factor, BBC etc. Alongside this, I am also currently the Musical Director and General Assistant on a new independent film by Encore Films (August 2015).Skills

I did some brief modelling as a child. I am not looking for formal modelling work but if there were any opportunities to be involved in any video shoots or music videos etc that I would visually be suited to, then I would definitely be interested.

I completed a Performing Arts A' Level (London) and a Bachelors Performing Arts Degree (England) and therefore have had acting experience my entire life. I have also performed at theatres in London including the London Palladium in a musical theatre show (Sunday Night Live at the London Palladium and shows with the Royal Opera House Company (collaboration of Opera and Soul/Blues). I am very interested in any acting roles available.

I am a true London girl with a passion for music – a pianist, singer and songwriter with high pitched, soulful vocal melodies and harmonies influenced by a range of music from many different genres. My stage name is 'Natalyan' pronounced 'Nata-lee-arn' (stemming from my full name Natalie Anne) and I am in the process of working on a self-written album. I have also just literally returned to living in London permanently after residing in Australia for 6 years.
I began playing the piano as a young child and quickly followed that by singing. Immediately I was hooked and knew that music was a big part of my life. I have nearly been in the right position to 'make it' a few times but not quite got there, which I think is due to a combination of different reasons stemming from a lack of confidence, not meeting musicians that I clicked with and focusing too much on cover tracks - being someone else as opposed to finding out what and who I was musically.
Over the past few years after significant business and personal travel and a continued and successful business career, I now know who I am as an artist. What my identity is. Songwriting is an invaluable ongoing experience for me. An expression that is so personal yet one that changes when an audience exists. My music is true and based on life experience whether it be mine or someone close to me. Each track is distinctive and has that identifiable sound I can call my own so I am glad to finally be able to share this amazing journey with those who are interested and listen to my music.
Watch this space for my debut album launch and live shows broadcast across the Internet.
The Natalyan way is to see everything as an opportunity so please get in contact - whether it be to let me know your thoughts on my songs, or for collaborative purposes – I want to hear from you AND please see www.Natalyan (stage name) for some of my original tracks fully composed, sung (including harmonies) and the piano is played by myself also. They are incomplete and need further work but this is the part of the process I am working through on the album. I am looking to collaborate with new people and in particular find a band that I can start to gig with again and hopefully write with. I want this band to learn my originals, work on new songs (rest of album), do a launch gig and work on some re-makes of covers (for non-original gigs or mixed) - example artists to cover - Jess Glynne, London Grammar, Kings of Leon, Counting Stars, Phil Collins - basically, funk, soul, dance, garage etc. Alongside this, I have been a member of the Melbourne Singers of Gospel and am now about to join the London International Gospel Choir and begin performing again around the London circuit.
(Currently, other than songwriting/completing my album), I am a member of the Blues Kitchen (Shoreditch) Gospel Choir whom perform every Sunday from 7.30pm - 9.30pm and a member of the London International Gospel Choir whom perform at charity events, award ceremonies, X Factor, BBC etc.
